PYRAMIDS
In these fast and loose modern times where stockbrokers sport nostril rings and lunch ladies shovel their slop with tattooed arms, it's kinda hard to fathom just how radically twisted a self-inflicted chrome dome smacked most folks' peepers in the early sixties.
But here were FIVE PSYCHOS - a racially mixed set at that - compounding their fleshy flash by riding elephants to gigs and driving the whip ass "Penetration" into the top ten in early '64.
Yeah, it's the hit, hijinx and hair loss that loom largest in the combo's lore. Still, their entire arsenal (a killer LP and a brace of sonic singles) is a deep and impressive one.
Sundazed now ups the reverbed ante with the unissued romp "Carol Ann" as well as the Gary Usher-Roger Christian penned winner "Bikini Drag", which was previously tucked behind inane chatter in the flick BIKINI BEACH.
Whether you're bushy or bald, a seasoned stomper or just taking your first trip to the great Pyramids, you're in store for a penetrating blast from the fabulous furless five!
