One Man's Trash Is Another Man's Treasure! So why should you buy just another damn 60's-compilation, huh? 'Because, well well, just because', sez Elvis anyway. Actually, the real reason is that while listening to this album you will get the same kind of feeling that you have when you've just eaten the right amount of vanilla ice cream on a hot summer day! The 16 tracks on this varied compilation are great fun for one and all, whether you are into freakbeat, mod, soul, country-folk or some totally demented German ueber-beat stuff. Just to let you really stay sick and turn blue there's a hilarious novelty song at the end of each side of the record. This comp is not based on the output of a certain label or on a certain style or region (though there is a slight emphasis on Germany since half of the stuff has its origin there). Nope, these are all just truly classy songs, that deserve to get a wider audience! 11 of the 16 tracks have never been reissued before and there are extensive liner-notes on the back-cover.
