Donna Santisi is a photographer who documented much of the goings on after dark in Hollywood in the burgeoning punk rock scene. In 1977 she published a small run of a book called Ask the Angels, one of the first books to document the L.A. punk scene, which after falling out of print, has become a highly sought-after collectors item.
In this redesigned special edition printing, Donnas original black and white photographs chronicle both local bands such as The Dogs & The Zippers, as well as national acts like Patti Smith and Blondie. Includes essays by Alice Bag, Kristian Hoffman, Exene Cervenka, Trudie, KK Barrett and more.
